C,mon roas, that is not a fair comparison! Supercharged W211 E55 all the way, if you can wait until the 2004 models are here. However, if you are buying now get the C32 AMG and have some fun.

I know, not really a fair comparison. Compact vs Mid size, V6 S/C vs V8 S/C.

Can't wait to see what the new AMG E55 will do on the track though. Ha....., finally a Mercedes that will win a comparison to a Bimmer in the Auto Rags!

What's BMW up to with a come back anyways? It better pack some serious wallop whatever they bring.

When the E55 W211 hits the streets the proverbial "lead" in the auto mags will be short lived. BMW 'has to' over-horsepower the M5 inorder to sell it and remain number 1. The word on the BMW board is that the next M5 will be a V10 with close to 500hp. So that will trump the next E55 in the horsepower war.

Dear all
I went down to the dealer yesterday, but they said they can't find a 2002 C32 unless I paid extra 3000 for them to ship one from ohio. Meanwhile, I am trying to call dealers around the country to see if they have a 2002 silve C32 sitting around waiting for it's owner.
The local dealer was trying to force me to look at this 2 year old E55 for about the same price as a new C32. E55 has about 24000 miles on it with all the options. Is it a good deal ?
I am also trying to seek for informations about the new upcoming E class.
Any tips or concerns will be helpful.

Pete regards
