MBUSA new car dealerships can only charge MSRP unlike BMWNA who can charge a premium. Since there are only about 1000 copies coming over they should be just about gone for '02. Go to MBUSA.com for priceing and options.

I don't remember the price without looking it up but here are some costs(or if you have to ask you can't afford it :

Retail + Shipping $49, 600
Gas Guzzler Tax 1,000
Luxury Tax 500
COMMAND 2000
Metallic paint 675
CD 800
HID(with washer) 1200

Those are some of the major option but to get more details go to MBUSA.com to build your own car. Rumor for '03 is a deck lid spoiler. Not much left to improve I guess.

C32 prices

I bought mine 3 weeks ago. Someone had cancelled their order the day before so I avoided the waiting list. There was no negotiating the price I paid list (but did get $300 off the CD changer - not really much of a deal!).

I was glad to get it and they could easily have sold it for list. I could have bought a C320 for about 5% under list.

Hope this helps.
Neil

If you want to save money, and used is ok, check out the ones on Ebay auction.

If you only want new, contact every dealer within a 4 hour drive, next state, whatever, by email. You will find a starving salesman or dealer that will negotiate. If possible, find a small rural dealership, the larger ones are too arrogant. If you find one in stock it has been there for some time. The first major change on the C32 will probably come in 2004 or later with the Direct Injection engines. Good Luck!

He was just kidding around about that. He had the next to it.

cheyen, If money is no object get the C32 AMG rather than a common E320 even if just for the fun factor, the power, the sound & the speed. Just my 2 cents! Good Luck!

Thanks! Got the E55 on March 08, 2002. Mileage today is only 124. Have not made time to have fun. My website:

Very nice indeed. I'm keeping the 500E for a very long time, so I need to plan on the next purchase.

C32 or the new AMG E55?

cheyun, sorry for butting in on your thread.
