power pre,and turbo

Just want to ask in the old days to beef up a 302,I'd swap 289 heads for more power. Can you take a 3.2 and use a 2.8 head.
Next question if I turbo which I'm thinking. Will exhaust manifold from early 3.2 match my 99.The one I found on Ebay is 4 section plus 2 cylinder then exit.I'd post a picture but don't no what this url **** is.

turbo and supercharging has risks associated with head gaskets unless I have made a layered gasket by Gasket Works.I want the motor to last long term.I wonder what kind of power I would see from a 2.8 head.I have 300 wheel with NOS,I like to see if I could do it naturally,3.6 crankshafts are hard to find.In other words trying to go cheaper than NOS,as tanks run dry so quickly.
