That is ridiculous. Getting a converter stalled is at most a 6-800.00 job.
What stall do you want. How high of rpm. I have an old one from when I had a 722.3 that is around 2200rpm if I remember. It has been a long time since it was in a car so I honestly do not remember the number. Shipping would be quite a bit but I would sell it for 400.00. But I would suggest calling around to see if you can find someone local that does this kind of work on other cars and have them do this for yours. Converters are all pretty much the same concept.

i have now made some good results using Garett GTX3576 pushing 1,8bar making about 630ps with lots of torque/// but am having serious problems with trackion

my next step is to make it automatic with pcs controller but i have some more answers to take....
i dont know anything about automatics....
i use a 6speed manual w203 270cdi.....and it can stand torque...
i dont know what converter to use....
i found a 722.626 from a e320cdi w211 to use...beause they are cheaper than the .628 and they can handle the same power.....but.....can i use the diesel converter?
i just bought an ASD diff 3.27 and i will put it to work manually... with a hydraulic handbrake

anybody done that before?
can the 124asd stand torque?with locked hydravlic?

sorry for my bad english...
