Depending on which 225 you use, maybe. It'll be close. A non cossie will only clear it in the rear, I believe a cossie will clear it in the front but it will be close.

I have a set of 99 clks also ,work very well and look excellent .The r129 look more massive in comparison ,at least 1 1/2 wider ,these would look even better than the clk look and keep the rim and yr of production correct.Im going to by a used tire , a 225 50 16 ,test the fit for tire rub on frt and rear, then check on buying new tires.

The OEM lug bolts "work" but they disappear inside the R129 holes. I'm still on the lookout for a used set of those extended head bolts so the heads flush up with the wheel face.

I think you are going to have issues. I have a 87 Cossie. Im running 215/45/17. The rear fits with no problem. The fronts are a different story. I have new struts and rubber up front and I had to have the camber and caster adjusted for them to fit. Still need to go over dip pretty slow to prevent rub.

According to the tire calculate I found, my tires are 24.6" in diameter. The tires you are looking at are 25.7" Unless you adjust your alignment I am pretty sure you will have issues.

I am running 205 55 16 on 16x7 CLK light weights an the fronts rubbed a little until I rolled the lips. It is lowered about 1/2". They are taller than stock so mu odometer is about 10% off. 225 55 are going to be really tall and wide.
