Is there a difference in ride between 88 300TE and 94/95 E320T?

Hi,
My 95 E320T rides very softly. I have heard rumours that MB decreased spring rates for 94/95.
Anyone know this to be true??
Thanks
farrukh

Yeah, I think there is some truth. The older wagons have a very firm ride - almost too much so, in my opinion. The newer 124 wagons feel much smoother to my highly calibrated derriere. As well, compare the ride heights of the two - the older cars are perched high up on thier suspension, the newer wagons ride lower. So definately some changes were made.
