C280W 1997 , is how fast 0-60 and 1/4? thanks

With the 722.6 transmission, the 0-100km/h time is 8.5 seconds. Top speed was 227 km/h, no 1/4 mile times here.

damn my 86, 300 is faster than that. wut about the c220?

The C220 with automatic trans does 0-60 in 10.5 seconds.
I would go with a C36 or C43 if possible.

MB's times are understated considerably. On the strip, my 98 C230 ran mostly 16.5's at 86mph and 0-60mph in 8.5. The C280 is quicker, running in the mid-low 7's 0-60 and 15's for the quarter.

They don't miss as much on their performance cars, but still do by some. Only the most gently driven E500 won't break 5's in the 0-60. MB listed it somewhere in the high 6's.

As to the C36, ours ran mostly low 14 quarters right at 100 mph. Our strip is quite sticky, good for the stupid-ASR, and we got some sub 6.0 0-60 times, which is tough on the ASR equipped cars.
