500E for sale..Seattle area
Hey Guys
Was in looking at A4's with a buddy (its for him) and came across a beautiful 92 or 93 500E. 80,009 miles, all papers, every option. Color is anthracite, maybe black on top, with the gray lower body panel. Interior is gray. Truly stunning machine, the young saleman I know thier can account for its performance! Price is 26K, but he said they would take 25 or so, its been sitting for a while! A guy even flew in from CA, but then backed out. Ask for Scott or simply the VW man. Just tell him Elliot in the 87 124 DT sent you from Mercedes Shop online! Very cool guys in there, all mid 90's german, good taste! That guy from CA was me. I ended buying a car at Park Place instead, lower miles and my first choice in color combo.

They have two 500E's. Which one are you talking about?

Yeah, it's only one. I drove by a couple weeks ago and saw it, looks in good condition. At first I thought it was the same one I saw about 6 months ago there with exact same color combo, except that one had factory chromes(maybe it's the same car with different wheels).
Placo, did you buy the tan one from park place?

Actually I purchased a Pearl Black / Black one from Park Place about two months ago. It has chrome wheels on it. They had two at the time and the other one was purchased by one of their sales guys. As I understand it they are seeing a large demand for these cars lately, at least that's what I was told. When did Park Place have a tan one?

maybe about six months ago... Seems like a long time, but cars sit at park place for a while sometimes(most are on consignment). I'm pretty sure it was a '93 tan on tan all stock (no chromes).
