M103 Intake Upgrade

Where is this intake elbow available? 300SL? This would be a good way to start off the ram air system! Your comments will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Adam

Thanks for your suggestions, I am looking for a very clean looking system. I believe this intake elbow will fit my application perfectly. The C280 or E320 Intake tube would have to be cut up to work properly.

Where is the "breather hose" connected to?

The one from the valve cover to the air intake.

No, the piece connected to the breather hose. The large black intake elbow that sits on top of the mass air flow meter.

adam

Audi and vw used cis and cis-e fuel management systems. I have seen different rubber top hats off of those cars that would fit on a benz. I took the one off of my 87 jetta and it fit on my 93 190e. Not seen the hard one like your picture though. Will do a salvage yard run this weekend to look for one.
Thanks for the idea.

The intake on the fuel distributor is larger on the vw. I had to use the gasket off of the 190e cleaner to get a tight fit. But it looks more "factory" than some of the others I've seen. I haven`t completed one yet as I am still keeping an eye out for a better intake boot in the junkyards. I need the one on my Jetta, doesn't run to good without it
