Turbo Kit

Hmmn, I just don't understand those mechanics, what is the source for extra power if there is no extra fuel there is no extra power only detenation and melted piston such old car you have you can add extra fuel so easily end of the pump there is locknut 14mm and 12mm adjusting bolt turn and try, you notice different immediatly adding too much fuel is no good ok. add some, run the engine give some rpm watch the smoke if you don't see much smoke add more and opposite way if you have too much, I did that 524 bmw td first it make some black smoke coulnd't actually see rear view but power gain is unbelivable so I took little bit back until it was ok I have done several mercedes too it works

I believe that these 240Ds run a bit rich...so that is where the extra power comes from. What engines do you have that you could sell me cheap? What is the price on a cheap engine?

Turbo 240D

We agreed that the car from the factory was set on the rich side.
running the turbo for 100k and NO problems shows me the motor
was tuned pretty good. I am trying to find the customer I sold the motor to and see if it is still running. My customer bought the engine from me because she never checked the oil on the car because someone told her that the 240D never needs oil and she threw a rod. I know she was still driving the car in 1997.

Cool Turbo kit

My idea cheap engine, between $600-800 is less or same what you going to spend your project ++ hours but if is this like more experimental work who cares the cost, just try save that trouble, building the home made turbo is interesting, fun and time consuming.
