If you do a search on ebay for Ford Focus air intake, you should come up with several people/companies selling the OBX one like I have. I have seen the intakes sold with several different kinds of air filters. Ones like mine and ones that are a bit larger but also have the heat shield and of course ones with no heat shield.

When I initially purchased my intake, it arrived with a open element filter, I had to contact the seller and remind him that his Ebay ad stated that the intake came with the heat shielded air filter. He proceeded to send me another OBX air filte that looked like a bullet/bomp with little wings! Although interesting, it still was not what I wanted. He finally found the correct filter and sent it out to me.

That tells me that the air intake does not come from OBX with the heat shielded filter, but that it was a add on that the seller did.

I found the heat shielded air filter at a local performance shop for $50, so they are available seperately if you want to purchase one.

If I were you, just keep checking on Ebay till the correct intake pops up for sale.
