on the road again!
After seven plus months finally got the car back on the road today. Still have a lot of stuff to sort out, including some electrical gremlins (idle control, aux fan) and the front end. We found an easy fix to the low front end is to keep your foot planted and wow, what a rush it is.
I posted many new pictures today including some shots from underneath of the beefed up subframe, diff, sway bars, etc... |

ductless
Not yet.
Unless I get the part number for the air duct the Hammer had behind the headlight we're going to try using the ducts behind the headlights from a 400E connected to the proper air intake tubing for the 117 engine up into the air cleaner. The radiator is wider than a stock 300E so the ductwork that slips between the rad and headlight won't fit. I took a sideways shot of the radiator/ headlight junction- |
