Can I put 600sl/E500 brakes on my 92 300E?
Hey everyone! I was wondering if it was possible to mount the rotors and calipers from a 600sl or E500 on my 1992 300E without major modification. Also, do you guys think the stock hydraulics can handle the larger calipers? I have carlsson 18x8 et35, so I don't see brake clearance being an issue, thanks!

This has been discussed a lot lately. It seems that there are too
many parts to change, like the hubs. If you don't have the 500E parts yet, you should find 400E parts instead. People have had great luck with this swap. Look at our fellow member's site: http://www.2phast.com/190E/190e.htm where he talks about the brakes and other stuff. Stu Ritter says that 400E brakes just need stainless steel lines to be perfect.

thanks, I vaguely remembered something about the hubs, but I couldn't pin it down. I don't really need to upgrade the brakes at this time, I was just turning it over in my head.
