Euro headlamps for 190e
Does anyone know where I can get euro headlights real cheap? I know bekkers.com has them, but I don't want to shell out over $500 for them. Any idea where i should look? I found a nice pair on ebay for $333 that comes with the 6 pin connectors and the h4 bulbs. Is that a good price, even though it would cost over $55 for shipping from berlin?
Thanks for any incite, Peter V.

Peter/anyone who cares:
I just spoke with Paul @ PUMA in Ohio; he stocks the lights you're looking for (Hella) and he sells them for $339/set, including all bulbs & connectors. He's a great guy selling a high quality product, and they stand behind what they sell. Call him @ 800.354.3552

BOSCH, $275 incl. frt.
In my classified/parts ad of 9/10, I have an excellent pair of Euro lites made by Bosch. There are no stone chips and the reflectors are as new. The asking price of $275 includes bulbs, plugs and freight. The removal reason is because I don't drive the car at night anymore...track use only. Hate to have an expensive lite hit or chipped on the track where the probability is highest!

I know of this site.
Try www.importvision.com
Someone else had mentioned this site in another post. Call them up and you'll get a better price than the one that's advertised. usually 50 bucks less. I believe u can get the euros for your car for around $200 plus s/h. |

How much to install?
Hi everyone:
I've thought of Euro headlamps for my car too. I have a vision problem, and it seems like when it's raining outside, I can't even see the darn road! Would getting brighter headlights help, or would Euros be a better idea? How much do you think it would cost to install Euros? I'm not very handy and wouldn't want to risk it. Thanks for the help! -Michael. |

Euro headlights are pretty easy to install. If you have a screw driver and maybe the right wrench(I think it's 10mm, but not sure), you can do it youreself. The hardest part would be to switch the wiring connector to the headlight from a 4 pin connector to a 6 pin connector. But if you have a wiring diagram on what pins go were, it should be pretty simple.

Get the Euros
Get the Euros, the main difference is they're made of glass, so when you put in the higher wattage bulbs they don't fry your wiring harness costing $. I have the PIAA extreme whites, very bright, I wish I had them before I hit the deer. $350 was cheap compared to the $4,000+ I had to pay
