I've talked to Thomas abt a CF hood and he perfers not to do it...IM probably ganna have VIS racing do it for me since they specialize in custom CF hoods

BTW, what was your cost on the airbox? How about a CF hood with air vents? I know you want it....:p

I had an unexpected ($1000+) repair, this MON - my compressor/compressor-clutch went out; as such, my car will be in Redwood City until next week Wednesday (20NOV02)! I'm in a loaner Pontiac Grand Ass, until then... *sigh*.

The good news, though, is that - by then - I will have received ALL of my c-f pieces from Thomas... so I won't have to post incomplete pictures!

I am VERY sorry to tantalize everyone... I just want to DRIVE!!!

I most appreciate everyone's patience... and I do not mean to abuse it...

I feel for ya man...my air injection pump finally crapped out for good, after making noises for the past year. Its a useless device anyways BUT now that its gone south the "check engine" light has come on and there is no way to reset or bypass the fault.

A new part is $1200, any ideas where I can get a salvaged or rebuilt one?

Yep, new part only...too much money! Same with German Auto Parts and a few other 'net retailers. I'm hoping for some leads from Mercedesshop insiders
