Will Other MB Diff's swap into C280, 1999

I wouild like to change my rear diff. from the stock 3.07 ratio to a 3.27 or 3.4?.

Are there other model MB's that I could either use the gears from or swap the whole diff?

Thanks

Jeff

P.S. My C280 tops out at 135mph. It feel like the engine retards the timing.

Although a 3.27 or higher diff from a 1988-1990 300TE wagon will fit, you will need to change/modify the driveshaft (about $475).

Also, you will LOWER your top-end speed, but will gain in acceleration, and your MPG will go down as well.
