Sunday 1/5?

Yahoo weather says Sunday is the day to drive.

How many can make it?

State your preference for early or late.

I'll bring my S-03s!

I'm pretty sure I can make it. The later the better for me. Where are we looking at to meet?

Hi All,

As with the San Rafael meet, I'll RSVP affirmative but tentative. Three kids and another on the way (Jan 29!) takes commiting to such events totally out of my hands. So far, it looks like Sunday but I don't see where. I'll follow post and try to track you down.

Greetings and thanks John for the head's-up.

I'll unfortunately not be able to join in this Sunday's drive based upon prior committment

Looking forward to the next one! Enjoy!

I need to find out in the next 2 hours, if possible...

Thanks!

Emeryville!

The 11:00 a.m. time is a problem because traffic will have set in. I'd suggest 7:30 a.m., but if 11:00 gets us more people, that's what we should do.

I suggest Emeryville -- in the parking lot of the Denny's at the Powell Street offramp (east side of the freeway). It's basically a drive from everywhere, but not more than a single bridge for anyone. From there, we can go up to the top of the ridge that runs from Oakland to Richmond, and I know some very quiet back roads with reasonable straightaways.

I hope I can make it. If I can, it will only be for an hour and a half or so. I have to be in Fairfax at 1:30.

Scott,

Sorry we lost you in Tilden Park. John and I circled back to try to find you, but no luck obviously. Otherwise, a great drive. I enjoyed seeing your car in person..

Fun, fun, fun.

A good time was had by three!

Scott (run.exe), me, and RJ met at Denny's and promptly began leaving rubber behind (well, some left more rubber than others).

It was a gorgeous day and the roads were plenty twisty.

For those who could not make it, see you next time.

Scott, I am not sure how we lost you. As RJ said, we doubled back and tried calling several times but, as I am sure you figured out, there's not a heck of a lot of cell phone coverage up there.

thanks!

Sorry you lost me, my friends!!!

My phone had zero reception "up in them thar hills" - so I couldn't
meet you at the rally-point.

I had a great time, though; thanks or making it!

I will post pictures to my website, later, today.
