did I have an aftermarket chip?

I just opened up the computer of my 92 500E and changed the chip that I bought. when i took out the one that was in there i noticed that it didnt look like an original one. it had a sticker with some hand writen number(e7607). my question is how do i know if it was an after market chip or the original? the car doesnt seem to drive any different but then again i didnt try timing the speeds at all. earlier i replaced the chip on my buddies 94 E500 and when I took it for a spin the thing went all the way up to 7000rpm mine still shifted at around 6300-6400rpms.

stock

That sounds OEM/stock, to me; it may be internal (software) version control...
