Car & Driver, Road & Track has their hands on the new ML55 AMG. Both magazine are impressed with the new car. And Road & Track even predicted the possibility of E55 4matic(which is very possible, if there's market for it). E55 with all-wheel-drive would be nice...

An interesting footnote. After talking with some dealership folks it would seem you may actually be able to get an ML55 easier than the ML430. Provided the 20K price hike doesn't scare you off...
As far as I know, there isn't any significant technical barrier to overcome in building an E55 4-matic. That would sure be something to shake at the Audi faithful...j/k. Lee

Is there a possibility to re-engine an E430 4-Matic to fit the E55's engine? I know it sounds a lil' crazy, but who knows

CCC,
If Mercedes can put the 5.5L V8 in ML, and works with 4-matic(which is use both in ML and E-Class 4Matic), there will sure be a way to do it..... Happpy Motoring... Andy Kuo ------------------
