So at last I have bought my dream. A 1992 500E, pearl black with black leather, 60,000 miles, original window sticker plus all books and records. I am over the moon!
I sold my 16V, she has been fantastic company for the last four years but it is on to bigger and what I am sure will be better fields. I take delivery next Friday, and I just cannot wait.

Any other potential clubmembers out there? If you are interested I have test driven three other 500E's in the North-East. Two are still available, both '92s one is grey with grey leather and 46K miles (asking $34K), the other is anthracite and grey leather with 100K miles (asking $26K).

Both have hi-line aftermarket cd changers and books and records, although the books and records for the 100k mile car (as well as the general condition) are superior.
