test image upload

My interior is a cream, light ivory color.

This first image is a broadside shot of the car taken on the day I purchased it. You can see that the outside of the mirror is black and the interior is the cream color.

If I knew where to look for the color code, I could get that. The last page of the maintainance book has all kinds of code numbers on it.

interior shot

Interior shot. Be advised that this image was taken at 5:00 p.m. in very late December, so it was pretty dark outside. The leather is lighter than what is shown in the image, actual is more like the other two pictures.

mike. My interior is code 265 mushroom, but black is also fine as I am in the process of doing some interior mods... two toneing the black and creme. so the tops of my door panels will be black soon.

So lets go with black.

Volo's car looks to be either parchment or mushroom, but I think his is parchment.

Alon,

Do you know where to look on that last page of the maintainance book for the interior color code?

its on a plate in the engine compartment.....

The plate should be in front of the radiator near the latch mechanism.

I'm not sure the placement of the numbers as to what is what, but its one of the codes on there.

There is a website with an explanation of all the codes, but I have no idea of the link.

Mike,

Stopped at the dealership last night and had him look at the maintainance booklet with all the codes.

My interior color code is "275". He called the color "cream beige".

alrighty well i'll see what i can do about getting those parts for you guys, what i think i'll end up doing is getting the interior coloured peices new from mercedes, they'll be a little more expensive but they will then also be the perfect colour aswell.

yeah chris i'd be very interested in the lowering procedure, i'm going to buy H&R springs from a friend of mine, and a friend of mine has a garage that i can use to install them. i'll probably get bilstiens for the shocks, not to sure though, pedders may have a good priced product aswell. how did you go about lowering it or did a friend of yours do it?

Mike, what they done is cut the standard springs and then shamfer (make it sit straight)the cut part to sit like the original again.I didnt want compressed springs(will sag later) or I didnt want heavy duty springs(ride will be too hard).
I have 17's with 45 series tyres,1 finger between tyre and guard on front n two at the back.Car sits great and I have never had a problem with rubbing.
Standard shocks are soon to be replaced with Bilsteins.
Jumboz on Heathcote rd Liverpool is the place I got it lowered.

mike while you are at it if possible, perhaps one of the yards out your way have some black door panels for a 1990 - 1995 300ce.

Let me know.

Thanks,

Alon

'90 black CE being parted out on e-bay

Alon,

There has been a fellow parting out a 1990 black 300CE the past few weeks. He is basically selling everything seperately. Most of the stuff has not been bid upon and has expired. Perhaps you can send him an e-mail to see if he has your panels. Here is a link to one of his items.
