$450 wheels for my 500E..what do u think?

I just bought these 2 piece AMG wheels and tires($450) and put them on my 500E. My plan is to have the outer lips redone and while they are being done I will have the centers painted to match the car color. I am also going to have all of the body panels and bumpers painted to match and am gonna do something with the grill. I will post results but here are the wheels for now.

Alon, I will give him a call. Thanks. I have a guy localy willing to do it for $400 but he wants me to take the wheels apart otherwise he will charge me an extra $300.00, I cant believe he wats to charge that much just for taking them apart, it seems very easy but I guess I'll find out soon.
Thanks for all your advise.

DR AMG these wheels wont fit your car because of the offset...SORRY

I have 3-piece AMG-OZ modular wheels.

If your wheels have a silicone bead holding the parts together, it will be nearly impossible to take apart WITHOUT damage to your wheels, unless you have the proper tooling.

IMHO, let them do it and warranty that there is no leaks.

I tried, and gave up.

I second that endorsement. Sander's shop has done some work on my car, and the quality and price are beyond reproach. Very nice guy, I highly recommend him.

Nice wheels, BTW. Really suits the car well. Oh, and I may be interested in one of your friend's custom ASR defeat mods.
