2.3-16V whats the deal?

I have a 1987 2.3-16V its a perfect car maintained perfectly mechanically and cosmetically yet if it is really cold out the car take forever to start I heard the fuel injection systems on these cars are not that solid is that true? Is there any solution to this problem? I love this car it is absolutly superb and want to keep it for a very long time so Im jsut curious about this problem and if it needs special attention.

is not the best for the 16v lots of little gremlins, i would get
the mecedes shop manuel and learn how to check the sensors

Say it together now........OVP !!!!

Check your Over Voltage Protection Relay. If you are unsure about it or it's location, just use the search feature.
