I just pickep up a '93 500E, and just had some quetions about it. All I got was two regular keys, and was wondering if a keyless remote came on 500E. If not, is there a way to get one that'll work with the factory alarm? Are there any little problems I should look out for? And last but not least are there any ways to get more power out this already fast car? I'm always wanting more power. Ok now it's time for me to drool over my baby some more. Thanx in advance for any help.

If my memory serves me right, W124s do NOT come with keyless entry. Therefore, factory alarm is activated upon locking the doors with master key.

If you want to do an alarm, go for after market as most factory alarms, IMO, are for peace of mind ONLY(However, some facotry alarms are very good). Depends on how much you want for your alarm, it would range from $99 up to $1K.

W124's never came with keyless entry. Benzmac has a keyless entry install available but we have not sold them as a "kit" as getting the parts can take awhile and install is a bit tricky. However, it does use all the factory alarm and integrates perfectly. If you can get Benzmac or Bill to sell one but that is up to them.
