I'm still going with the Prancing Horse

Though I love my Mercedes, when it comes to F1, for me it's the team in RED.

La Dolce Vita, Scuderia Ferrari!!

looks like McLaren & West are parting company

they are not a partner on their site anymore

also team name doesn't use "West" only Team McLaren Mercedes

now if Marlboro doesn't give money to Ferrari we'll be in good shape this year...opps i meant next year ;-)

West is still a partner of McLaren Mercedes but they can not be mentioned on the car any more because of a new British law...

More info about the mp4/17D, from a few people:

The manager of TAG McLaren Martin Whitmarsh:

As a matter of fact, the MP4/17D that we will see in Melbourne has a new transmission, new suspensions and a deeply revised Mercedes engine making an additional 50 horsepower compared to the "spec" used in Suzuka last year .

David Coulthard, the driver said:
"That car is effectively quicker than the one used in Suzuka",
..............the rest is just usual bla bla...

Damn!

Is the race today? I am stuck in Kuwait and a F1 race is probably that last thing that will come across a TV over here.

Go Mercedes!!!

David Coultard takes the win!!!! 8.67 sec.
Kimi takes a easy thrid over Micheal

That gives Mclaren Mercedes the top spot with 16 points
Good way to start the season

Thumbs up

Dam, what an amazing race that was.... Thanks to SpeedTV

Not only we took the win, but we are still using the old car like Ferrari

Its just a pain Kimi Raikkonen didnt win Just because of speeding 1.1km/h above the speed limit inside the pits

Anyway, we still won, so McLaren Mercedes rules no matter what

Closer look, Kimi ran the fastest lap of the race a 1'27"724 - lap 32
and second was Micheal with a 127"759 - lap 27
But the ferrari was running a 2 stop, with the Mercedes only
running a one stop,
I think the engine is up to par, finally
