I was looking at the header in my car. It is essentially a box tube the runs the length of the motor and then exits out the back. I'm guessing this was due to a space restriction?
Anybody have any info on this or know of a better flowing header? ------------------ Noah 1999 C43 4Noah |

Sorry, I don't know of any better headers (exhaust manifolds), but I would bet that the stock exhaust manifold is tuned for emissions control instead of maximum power. It probably retains heat much better so that the catalytic converters work better.

Noah,
You should contact Phil at Eurotek, he has a guy who used to design Brabus's systems that is here in the states building custom exhaust for MB.I was in his office the other day....he had a beautiful set of pipes for an Eclass. You should get to know him...he's doing the work on my CLK 55...he's just up in Bronxville. Tell him I sent you.
