M103 Build Q's?
With a 170k+ miles on my 190 it's time to start thinking about a rebuild. I searched the board stroking my 89' m103 seems to be the most cost effective solution rather than building another motor swapping out ecu and fuel systems etc.......!
I have a pretty good connection with a shop. The only bad think is he doesn't specialize in MB. I have to supply all the parts for the build, but he does have a fair knowledge of MB and resources. How much can I bore my 2.6l out? And at what bore point would I would have to go with a diesel cam? Pistons who makes some good ones?

A 300E would prob be the only motor I would consider since it's a direct swap. I'll see what Pat says
