Great!

You are going to love it! Keep me posted as to when Steve is coming. I want to have him do more work for me. I'll meet you there. Last I heard from him though, is that he does not yet have enough customers to warrant coming.

Hoping he does. He said he'd be here. I gave him a deposit as well.

Awesome onfo on the ron93 setting. My C36 will hopefully have the lower setting so I can 'speed' things up a bit!

Yes, TV support is enabled by default. You gotta buy the tv separately for about $1000 though. Basically the same thing otherwise. Oh, I can turn it on w/o having the key in; it turns itself off after 1/2 hour or asks you to put the key in to keep it on. Also, it speaks to me in a British accent. Big advantage to me is I was able to get the fibre optical based system, [COMMAND, phone and cd-changer] put in a '98 C43, which was a non-fibre optic based setup, and the original stock hands-free phone was analog. So now I have a hands-free phone again with a modern day G3 [3G?] phone ta boot.
YA!
... I will note a disadvantage is european AM doesn't tune in 10 kHz increments (rather 8 or 9) , so most AM stations are slightly de-tuned while some don't come in at all. I wasn't ready for that.

The person that does it goes by the handle MBenzNL (a.k.a EuroPimp from the west coast guys). Search for him and send him a message. He's from the Netherlands. He happens to be over here at this very moment ... should be leaving Boston to go somewhere in NY for another 6 installs over the next day or two (he did three installs from my house at the beginning of this trip). Too bad you didn't know about him and get intouch with him about a month ago.

My car didn't pass inspection in the MB shop due to excessive CO levels. I'm hoping this isn't due to the RON93 setting. I'll keep you all informed.

It passed ... (however I believe the settings were set to default then back again to do it!) I still think I'll replace the O2 sensors before next year though. I read two codes for "slow" sensors with mu OBD-II scanner, Car Code. I didn't have this problem last inspection and the car was on RON93.

Hey, I hear you got a new faceplate too on this visit! What else did you get this go around? How were his installs going? Let's just say he had a less than perfect start this time. Hope it got better for him. (all ended up 100% with my install at least)

Also, when's your car up for inspection? Let me know if having your car on RON93 causes any issues with your car's CO levels.

talk ta ya later.
Steve
