That's a nice car. I even like the interior color combination.
It seems that ACC is not a popular option in Europe. It was never offered in Indonesia and Singapore (in the W124's). The W124's in Singapore always came fully loaded (no seat heaters obviously) but never had ACC. Silver MB's do look really really good...

The nice part is that all that stuff is available for purchase too. I'm pretty sure they all had AC...didn't they?
I LIKE that color combo....looks sharp with the black and the silver. Shanta, can you find pics of the very last E500 Ltd. with the completely red interior? Thanx for sharin' these pics...they be nice. |

US/European e 500
Hi guys,
Apparently this E500 is European. You can tell by the door locks which completly disappear in the doors on the European version ; from what I know, on the US cars, you can still unlock the door by pulling up the door lock. As well, on european cars, the storage armrest does not exists, not even as an option (from what I know) ; and that's not cool. On european cars, the automatic air co. was an option (about $1400 in 1994) for two reasons I think : first, because it is not so hot in our countries, and so we are not so much concerned about Airco, and second, because the non auto air co has two zones (left and right). If we still have to manually select the vent speed, I have to admit that I prefer 2 zones which give more comfort for the driver and the passenger. I have also been told that the fully automatic air co is not reliable and that the air flaps can easely get mad : is this true ?
