Hey, I lived in Hawaii for 17+ years; it really doesn't matter - I'm just curious to see where we're all from/who we are!

well scott its a tough one for me...

I was born in south africa, but am now an american citizen. Does that classify me as caucasian or African american then? Considering I was born there and raised here in the states.

Based on how I look, I say Caucasian, but based on being born in Africa and becoming a US citizen, would that classify me as an African-American?
