I like them, however, I still need to install those Wilwood calipers & rotors first.

Unfortunately, we're already packing for Florida, and leave in the next 10-13 days.

PS: I do like the StopTech's design, and if they spent time sizing the pistons for a good match front-to-rear, they should work better at dissipating heat (not necessarily a shorter stop, all things being equal).

BTW: now that that StopTech uses it's own caliper design, do they still use the Porsche pad size? If so, that makes switching compounds that much easier.

Also, can you get that pad in other brands? Personally the only two I would want (when spending three large for front brakes!) are either Porterfield or Performance Friction. I wonder why they use Axxis... maybe Axxis made them a great deal to include their pads in all StopTech kits? Hmmm. Wonder if those will fit under 17's...

scott, Renntech, just takes a Brembo kit, puts their name on it, and charges you twice the price. But if you want it to stay renntech it does.

I was looking at a w210 E class and it had brembos all the way around, but it said renntech on it.

Best thing is that as everyone runs out to buy StopTech kits, the market will be flooded with used 320mm OE brake setups... just what my diesel needs!

Are they the 300mm, or the 320mm setup? How much for the set?

my calipers

Hi there. Well the early gen. Which is still a great improvement for
the older 124 chasis's.

I would sell the 2 calipers and 2 stainless brake lines. Only 1 brake disc, the other one was warped.

$150.00 plus shipping. Which would be I say around $25.00
since there are kinda of heavy. I painted them silver a while back. I will clean them up and take photo's if you like.

Yeah - wow, five minutes difference! I hadn't noticed that before. Make sure you post photos of the install when you bolt 'em up!

your brakes

Austin. Brakes should be htere tuesday. I Ihave a recpit from PUS store but no tracking no #. Noit unless I am reading wrong.

Also I didn't include the brake discs. they were both warp. excessive runout S go out and get some replacement brake idsc, or even some brembo corss drilled replacments.

I did give you 4 new brake pads sensors. Its the same input of the sensors on the connection side. but you only have 1 sensors per side. so I would rec putting the LF wheel brake pad sensors in the inner pad,and RF wheel on the outside pad.

Guido.
