Hate to disagree with you MTI but the 16 Valve and EVO II front sway bars are both 23.2mm (.91"). The EVO II rear sway bars are bigger, however, at 18 mm.

Actually the original 16v (201.034) came with a different part number, that later rolled to the EVO II (201.036) part number. Now all that's available is the EVO II part, 201-323-78-65. If you want to buy one, email the nice folks at Speed Autoteile, at Speed8467@aol.com , they can order it for you. This URL shows it is available:
http://wwwsg.daimlerchrysler.com/Projects/wi/cda/etpl?ETNR=A2013237865&from=query&etpl_lang=01 Cost from Speed will be ~$65 after discount & exchange US rates, but S&H will be pricey to the USA - probably another ~$75 USD. Might as well use a 124 bar instead, easier & cheaper to source, and fits with minor mods. Pick your 124 bar from this spreadsheet: http://www.meimann.com/docs/mercedes/124_swaybars.pdf HTH, |
