You guys can PM me all of your questions and requests directed for him or email me @ home. He's very busy and works long hours at a Mercedes service shop so he wouldn't be able to keep in touch with you as fast as I can. Neil, a 5.6L M117 into a W124 should be no problem for him. If you source the motor, tranny and wiring harnesses, he does the total swaps for around $3.5-4K depending on how far you want to go with it, i.e., reinforcing subframes, cooling, differentials, etc. All electronics are still functional, and nothing you're used to from the factory version is compromised inside. We can shop for the motor/tranny/wiring for you and pass the cost on with the install as well. I forgot who asked, but the 190E 3.8L had a M117 euro V8 from a 380SL. Yes, the 190E 3.2 is definitely quicker than the 3.8 but the problem was, from a standstill the M117 motors start to rev slowly which lets you get traction, but as soon as 3500 rpm comes up, all hell breaks loose in that little 190 and you lose traction. I never mastered the throttle position for the best traction control. Anyway, if you are serious about an engine swap, contact me and I will get the info for you very quickly.

Those figures are just a guestimate. I scaled a 1/4 mile and timed it with my watch so the accuracy is quite "iffy". I have pictures of the motor and the motor #'s and undercarage photos and such. I'll be scanning them as soon as I can, but I have a lot of things to do so I'll get around it when I can. I'm guessing the actual 1/4 mile speed is around 105 possibly. I'll have to take it to the track and get a real amount for you guys. Well I'm off, I have to do some stuff, but I'll get to the photos later.
