Interesting wheels for sale

FYI,

I found these "silver arrow" wheels/tires for sale if anyone is interested ......

http://www.wheelcollision.com/3d.html

I think someone on this board is running these (itanlianBenz?).

Also, I called these guys and they can put together a set of 17" X 8.25" 6-spoke (EVO II's???) together for $225 per.

Hi Gavin,

Your right Guido (ItalianBenz) does run those wheels and they look great. I'd be a little concerned with the stores comment that the wheels are nominally round, MB's are extremely sensitive to out of round wheels/tires.

Are they offering brand new EVO II's at $225Ea? That is less that MB's purchase price of $250Ea. If thats true it's an absolute steal.

17" X 8.25"

Afshin and Norman, can you run 275s if you wanted to with your EVO II set-up which I assume are 17X8.25

Vince,

I didn't investigate a larger tire as I was trying to match the factory specifications for the 94 E500 Limited sold in Europe.

To be honest I'm not sure how much tire can be used on the 8.25" wheel, I'll try to find out though.

Vince,
To stay at the correct diameter, you would need to run a 275/40-17. Most manufacturers recommend a range of 9" to 10.5" wide wheel for that size.
