19's rear 18's front on a 500E????
I'm gettin ready to buy some wheels and tires for my 500E since my wheels were stolen(i'm sure most of you know the story). I wouls like to put 19x10 or 19x9.5 on the rear and maybe 18x8.5 on the front. Does anyone know if this is okay to do? would it throw off the ABS system or anything else?
Thanks

It shouldn't be a problem as long as the overall diameter is within spec. I'd say a 245/40R18 front and 275/30R19 or 285/30R19 rear would work great.

mixing rim diameters looks funny to me. Plus you probably wouldn't be able to sell them if you decide to.

A guy named Extreme E500 has 19's all around on his tricked out E500(W124).
Good luck when it comes time to rotate those tires.

While it's physically possible, I don't think the 500E body style would look right with both staggered widths and diameters. If you want 19's, go 19 all the way around
