Norm ... Thanks for posting your pictures. dsC32's front rotors were very interesting, I had not seen drilled rotors crack like that.

No .... I have not not gotten under the hood to fix anything yet. With Isabel as a distraction and I am hosting the 190SL Group Convention in Williamsburg in a couple of weeks, the 2.3 has just sat. Well, not quite just sat, I used it as a "fuel truck" for a generator after loosing power for ten days. It is surprising how much fuel a generator consumes when it is used by several housholds. We were burning about ten gallons a day and it was easier to just fill up the 16 valve and siphon the gas than to try to wresle with gas cans.

Pocono, I'm in.

Greetings,

I just spoke to my tech and he assures me the suspension on the 190 16v will be ready for Pocono.

Since this is my backyard, so to speak, we could do a GTG at my place or I could lead the charge for a night on the town.
