Question engine temperature

hi,

I am puzzled as to the normal engine temperature in my 92' 500E.

The temperature gauge stops short of 90C with auxilliary fans on. I have changed the coolant, please advise if engine is overheating, thanks

Probably the thermostat. When mine started reading too low I changed it and everything went back to normal.

FWIW: my 1993 500E

Consistently runs between 80 degrees and 90 degrees Farenheit, regardless of any/all weather conditions.

Please keep in mind that I have both (RENNtech) oil and transmission intercoolers.
