I am puzzled as to the normal Oil pressure readout in my 92' 500E!!

I always use Mobil 1 fully synthetic motor oil, when engine reaches normal temp and car is neutral gear the Oil gauge reads between 1-2 ,is that acceptable????? please advise. thanks

Yes, very acceptable. BTW: I've noticed better results with the 5w-40 Mobil 1.

Hi,
I confirm that I read the same pressure at idle : 1.5, the engine been between 2.5 and 3 when driving.
I assume that is normal.
