Pics Of My Blow Radiator..........
For those of you who are still running your original radiators please take a look at this photo. As you can see my radiator flange just split in two and resulted in coolant all over the engine bay.
I installed a new radiator (very easy to do) and noted that the new BEHR Radiators have metal inserts on both the upper and lower flanges to prevent this from happening again. Here's a shot of the broken upper flange:

Possible Efficiency Loss....
Here's a shot of the bugs, grime, dirt, pine needles and leaves which were trapped behind my radiator. This picture does not show all the junk that already fell to the floor when I removed the radiator! The buildup traversed the entire botton portion of the radiator.
Anyone with minor cooling issues may want to take a look at this as a possible cause. After installing the new radiator the temperature fluctuates very little even on a few stop and go hard acceleration runs. I'll know how well this new radiator works this weekend.
