She shares the same HP (476 SAE) and torque (700 Nm) as the E55 AMG sedan.

That is one sexy wagon! Debadged that would be the best sleeper out there. Do you know how much it weighs? Wonder if they'll ever bring it out here.......I've heard rumors but who knows.

That's a ALOT of weight, and the sedan weighs 5,202 lbs.

Greetings Neil- How's the GC working out in the C36 motor?

Are you thinking of running it in the 500e? What are you running now?


btw- more and more horsepower on the street every year...and seems to getting cheaper and cheaper to acquire too!

German Castrol (GC) is working great. But I think I'm going to switch to Schaeffer's oil. Higher anti-wear and better detergents, plus it's MB approved.

I'm hoping that in 5-8 years one of these wagons will be off-lease and in my hands . . .

Currently running Mobi1 5w-40 European formula. Also will be switching to Schaeffers.

I think there was an article in the latest Star Mag. that claimed the E55 Estate Wagon would come ashore in the US...
