So the system is $11,000 and it costs $12,500 - $13,000 to install? Or......do you mean it is $12,500 - $13,000 with blower including installation?

Come on.....

The install is $1,500-$2,500 depending on model.

Most are the $1,500 rate.

So, that is all inclusive.

Just think. A used CLK 55 and a Kleemann supercharger = 550+ hp..... And Low 12's in the quarter mile!!!

Donnie,

Not that the rate isin't better than it was before but I still think that Kleeman is a little too proud of the kit. One can get an intercooled Magna Charger Radix M112 kit for $5,050 to mount on a domestic V8. What really separates the kits other than one being for a domestic and the other being for a Mercede$? I know about supply and demand but is the supply really that short to demand double the price?

When the price drops to around $5K - 6k + install, if they ever do, these should start moving a little quicker. Don't count me out yet but it is still a little high for a kit.....worth it when you factor the cost of Renntech's work and bang for the buck.

Donnie

Can you install this on my 1992 500E? Any other mod's or engine work that should be considered on a car with 83,000?

I'm pretty sure this kit is for the M113 engine only and so far, there are NO bolt-on kits that I know of for the M119. Well, there was the guy who twin-turbo'd his 500E in Europe, but he had to make the hood taller and push the grille out - just no room. Was fast as hell but I didn't like the look when it was done. Now, an E430 Sport with a blower... mmmm....

What is the verdict on high milage engines?

Hi Donnie.

Is there a point where you would NOT recommend adding a blower?

I see some (relatively) cheap E55's from 1999 and 2000 with 75k-90k miles. Would these "late model" cars be worth adding the Kleemann?

Is there a cutoff point? (less than 50k?)

Also, can YOU source a W210 for me?

Thanks,

Dave

Since we have pushed these engines to 700hp and have not had a failure, I would say that below 100k miles should be OK.

We could certainly find one and convert it for you.

Jan,

I can't find the photos on your site. Do you mean someone made a Roots-type compressor kit for the M119 engine? What kind of power gain was there, what was the cost, and WHERE CAN I BUY IT???
