Does anyone know if replacing the stock filters in my '99 E320 4Matic with K&n would give me the claimed 5% more power? I only have 8K miles.

Brand new paper filters flow about as much air as a dirty K&N filter. But I doubt 5% increase in power maybe 1 or 2% increase!

I fitted a K&N panel filter in my '96 E230.
Did not notice any power difference but I regularly get 9.5 km/ltr fuel consumption in city driving so there must be something there. |
