irregular idle when pumping brankes

Hi,
I am experiencing an irregular idle while I pump the brakes at a stop. I tried to do it quite quickly and the car stalled.
Has anyone an idea of where it could come ? I was thinking about eh gaz filter ? does it seems conceavable ?
Thanks for your help.
Alex

Pleas elaborate. If you are sitting still (at a light or something, not decelerating from speed to stop), does it do it then? Or does it do when you ARE decelerating from speed? If it happens when you are sitting still, I would say brake booster, or some form for vacuum discrepancy related to that system.
