Anybody have a Kleemann?

I'm trying to find out whether the Kleemann superchargers are worth the hassle of installation. No shop seems to be able to warranty the engine after installation which makes me think that the superchargers end up causing severe engine damage. Any thoughts on this?? I'm looking to install one on the 5.5 liter engine.

I have probably done more Kleemann installs that anyone besides Kleemann themselvs.

I have not had a single failure of a supercharger on a V-8. The new superchargers are redesigned to fit very easily with NO grinding for fitting.

These things work great when properly installed! I have 2 of them personally and over a dozen happy customers.

One has over 40,000 miles on the Kompressor with NO problems.

If you need one installed, you can contact me for shipping.

Benzmac,
Well if they are so reliable why is it that you dont warranty against engine damage? A warranty on the supercharger is different to a warranty on the entire engine.
Hate to be a ball buster!
Why is it if there is no engine warranty on the installation that Kleemann dealers refuse to sell the supercharger as a self install kit here in the US? I would think kleemann would be able to provide clear installation instructions and would probably sell many more units, after all there seem to be so many kits available for domestic engines and their manufacturers dont seem to have a problem with self installs.

Remember,

When here, you are in MY home. You must treat us with respect.

The answer is....You have to accept it because that is the way Kleemann does business.

If you give a buch of Do-it-yourself wanna bee's the kit and they screw it up and have trouble, the will blame Kleemann for the trouble and give us a bad name. For now, it is not that way.

Good luck on your search for more power.

You want a lot of power, you have to pay the price (the high price).

Kleemann stuff seems to be very reputable. I think that Renntech warantees all their engine work because they are very close with mercedes. You can have your renntech car serviced at the mercedes dealer.

Maybe you should look into renntech mods ($$,$$$)
