Does the new C230K have the C32 Brakes?!!!

This weekend at the San Francisco Auto Show I noticed that the C230K their had what looked like C32 brakes on it and thought, well they're just on for the auto show. Today on ebay though, I saw a 2004 C230K for auction and it had the same brakes. I went on Mercedes website and there were poorly detailed specs on the brakes but it appeared that the two C class sport sedans have different brakes. The C230K just seems like a very good value.

I have been wondering about it too, and it seems that they might have same brake components (caliper, and rotor) but painted different color with different label.

Here is what C32 brake looks like with 17" in which looks 99% alike

My friends ML500 also has the same brakes, less the drilled rotors.

I want to say that the C230k sport and the c320 sport have the 13.0" kit, but it could be the 13.6" kit from the C32. My friend has a C32 and it looks pretty much the same as his kit, less the caliper finish.

Post AMG Brake kits

The AMG brake kits on the C32 and the Clk are the same as the C230 Compressor sedan with the (SPORT) option
I Installed the C32 brakes on the Wifes W203 Coupe
They work great ...Big Difference in Stopping distance

Side Note the Parts are the same C32 and Sport C230
But the calipers are Black on the sport and Silver on the C32
and The C32 cost less
The Brake rotors are drilled only for One side......Hmmmmm
looks strange..Mercedes Cost cutting again

I've been looking at that too. The C32 has 13.6" rotors up front and it appeears that the C230K sport and C320 sport use the same brakes up front. The rear brakes are unchanged, though.
