Yeah, it's been down since about Sunday afternoon. Don't know why, but it isn't the first time. Perhaps Scott can illuminate us as to why.

Cheers,
Gerry

my 400e is not equipped with ASR, and last night the streets were soaked. No traction whatsoever. I had to feather the gas until i got into 3rd gear. It is definately fun sometimes though, and im glad i dont have to worry about it when the streets are dry. Having the same problem with 500ecstasy.com.

Unless you've really got lots of jam to get them smoking, most people don't recommend lighting up DOT slicks.

Also, there is just something about the metal warfare with driving around the water box.

Well, I only do what has proven to work for me -- i.e. provide the fastest times. A few dozen runs over a couple of months helped hone what worked best and what didn't.

Many runs were made with hot tires and cold tires, and the fastest runs I made were with hot tires.

With "drag" tires there is no question that my car is capable of reaching times well below (at least 0.2-0.3 seconds) below its current 14.02 record time. If there is any question as to proof, I have the timeslips from all runs made during the 2003 drag racing season for my E500.

Cheers,
Gerry
