I spoke with them and they said they have a software program for the E430/CLK430/ML430. No outrageous claims, they say with all other components stock it will give 15HP, and is tuned for part and full-throttle response for torque and HP.
You send them ECU, they reprogram and send back for $400. Compard to other prices on upgrades I've seen, this sounds more than reasonable. They also want to know in advance if you've got modified exhaust, intake, etc., as it will change the software. Any experiences with Jet good or bad? Wetterauer, Superchips, Dinan, etc. do not have anything for the above cars. Schikora says he can do it, but it's $1200!! Thanks. Bruce |

I didn't know Dinan did anything but Bimmers... My knowledge of their bimmer chips is that they are more of a WOT type tune. I wonder, if enough of us got together, could we persuede either Autothority or someone like Jim C.(of bimwad legend) to do MB tuning. In all my looking I can't point to one specific tuner or individual that is the clearcut "best" for tweaking these cars. Of course, I welcome all opinions/suggestions....

Dinan does do chips for cars other than BMW. I used to have a Honda that Dinan Chipped for me. It would be very nice if some of these manufacturers did Mercedes tuning as well!
