Lightbulb Getting ready for a 500E diff swap

I've decided to put in a 3.07 diff into the 500E.

However, I'll need to do the following:

1) find a 3.07 ASR diff in the R129 case;
2) swap driveshaft flanges;
2a) decided whether or not to change pinion seal since I'm swapping flanges (see below);
3) swap half-axle flanges with compensating washers;
4) decide whether or not to install LSD;
5) replace diff front & rear bushings;
6) change out instrument cluster or purchase speedo adapter from Bergwerks;
7) change out 0-rings for ASR sensor;
8) install new flex-disc;

Did I miss anything?

Anything else I should do while I'm there?

I was thinking this is the time to change out all links, rear subframe bushings; and get an alignment?

Here are some general questions:

What is the friction torque value of the 12-point pinion nut since the manual measures it "dry"/no oil; and without any of the spider gears/diff assembly installed?

The docs specify 125-150 Newton-Centimeters with new bearings; 50-100 Nm with used bearings. To convert to
Newton-Meters, do I simply divide that by 100?
If so, that's 1.25-1.50 Nm. Is that correct?

On the W124 CD-Rom (testing210.pdf and tech_mod210.pdf), Tech_Mod210.pdf (p.5) states to ALWAYS replace the pinion seal.

Moreover, as of 1/4/1998, an improved pinion seal (pn# 025.997.0047) and a improved flange provides better protection from contaminents. It also states that the OLD flange can be used with the improved seal.

Unfortunately, I don't think that is true (old flange w/new seal)
because the "improved" seal now has a "valley/dip" where dirt can accummulate IF used with the old flange. Only a new flange
($188-wholesale) has a longer/wider lip to protect the "valley/dip" from contaminents.

Since I'm swapping flanges, I'm concerned that the swapped flange with the old seal may leak. I'd change the seal in a heartbeat, but I don't want to spend $180+ IF I can trust the old flange can be used with the improved seal. Note: it doesn't leak, but this is swapped flange. . .
