I think you are describing the flexible transmission cooler lines.
I think you will need 2 19mm wrenches for the lines, maybe 1 22mm wrench. To drain the transmission you will need a screw driver to pop the torque converter cover off, then a 5mm allen to drain the torque converter, and a 5mm allen to drain the tranny pan. Then you will need a 6 point 10mm socket and extentions and ratchets, to take off the pan, then you need a phillips screw driver #2 to take off the filter, and then replace the filter, pan gasket, and then take off the cooler lines and replace those. DRAIN the fluid before you mess with the lines. Check the tranny while the car is running in Neutral. My experience comes from a 560SEL tranny, so I think most of the hardware is the same.
