I am considering purchasing the AMG Body Kit for my 1996 E320 which comes with the Sport option on the 420. I have the AMG wheels in order and would like to get some info on anybody which has done this to their car or has any feedback they have heard. Also, I have found one site which sells this http://www.nrauto.com/. Are there any others out there to compare prices with?

You can try contacting AMG's canadian distributor. I doubt the prices will be better (worth a look though) but with anything AMG you know the quality will be there. Their website is http://www.performances.com

Oh, one other quick idea. I noticed that on the Renntech website they have an inventory of bodyparts from customer cars. You may be able to find what your looking for from them if your lucky. Since it is used and in sort of a "boneyard" you may be able to get a good deal.

Enjoy...Lee

Thanks for the suggestion I just sent RennTech an email to see if they had any AMG kits available in their used part inventory!

Have you been to the Dealer Parts Department lately? The AMG Body kit for the current E-Class is now available thru all Mercedes dealers. If you want a discount go to my local dealer - American Service Center in Arlington, Va at www.justmercedes.com. All parts ordered via the Internet are discounted 15%.

If your ordering body-kits remotely, be sure to have a good bodyshop that is VERY familiar with MB lined up to paint, intall, etc them for you. Definitly shop around for pricing. I'd be curious to see if AMG themselves or a US dealer would have the better pricing... The only bonus to having your local dealer do it is that installation will go smoothly (or they are on the hook for it!) and the whole process should go more smoothly/quickly.

Good Luck...Lee
